Application Experience

I find myself using several applications quite often for both school and hobby work. I have used Adobe Photoshop for web design, photo editing and manipulation, user interface and "skinning" work, logo design and other digital art. For flyers, booklets, manuals, magazine and book layouts, pamphlets and other print work I have used Adobe Illustrator in conjunction with Quark XPress or Adobe InDesign. All word processing, such as writing this paper, is done in Microsoft Word 2003. In most cases I use an editor called ConTEXT for programming; it is basically a notepad-like editor with syntax highlighting. I donít usually use a database for anything other than web-related work, in which case I would use MySQL in conjunction with PHPMyAdmin, although I have also used Microsoft Access for occasional school projects that required database integration with spreadsheets.
